Supported by the Moratuwa office of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH), the daylong seminar held at the Moratuwa branch premises had over 50 participants. The special blessing ceremony organized by HNB Finance for the expectant mothers included the chanting of the Mora Piritha, the Angulimala Piritha and range of special prayers.
“This is one of many CSR projects that have been initiated across our extensive branch network across the country. Our goal in conducting these projects is to build a relationship which extends beyond the bounds of our services and products with our customers and the public at large, and contribute to the development of Sri Lanka in a sustainable manner,” HNB Finance Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Chaminda Prabhath said.
Senior nurses from the MOH conducted sessions on the importance of a nutritious diet and the general health and wellbeing of an expectant mother. The participants were also provided with a delicious and nutritious lunch by HNB Finance. A variety of valuable plants such as Jackfruit, Moringa and Nelli were distributed at the end of the seminar.
