Anton Star Awards 2014 Recognizes top performers

Celebrating the success of the Anton brand since 1960, the driving force behind it, its staff, the leadership and vast dealer network – the Anton Star Awards 2014 were held today at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel. The Chief Guest at the occasion was Hon. Deputy Minister of Highways and Investment Promotion, EranWickramaratne.

Since 1960, the Anton brand name has been synonymous with product excellence, innovation and leadership in Sri Lanka’s polymer industry. Counting many pioneering products and processes and having introduced timely and user-friendly products which have enhanced the efficiency of professional systems, industry and the domestic sector, Anton conforms to recognized international standards, including ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management systems since 2002.

Today Anton is the market leader for many categories of products in various segments and is regarded as ‘the first in many fields’.

Thirty-three [33] top performers amongst Anton’s marketeers and distributors were recognized at the grand awards show held today. They were presented with trophies, certificates and travel gifts in appreciation for the hard work they have put towards the brand’s success in the past year, and for being the driving force behind Anton’s vision, which is to be the leading manufacturer of polymer related materials within several industry verticals in the South Asian region.
