Alliance Finance to stage very first Motorbike Show in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s third oldest finance company Alliance Finance Co. PLC will stage the first ever motorbike show in the country shortly. The “AFC Motorbike Show 2016 – The World of Biking Under One Roof” will be held on 14th and 15th May, 2016 at Green Path.
This event will bring together motor bike dealers and biking enthusiasts from around the island to exhibit and display their array of products and services as per international standards.The local motor calendar which has just kicked off the 2016 season will no doubt be boosted by this one-of-a-kind event.
Speaking on the reasons to launch such an event Senior Manager Marketing & Deposits at Alliance Finance Dillon Thajudeen notes, “Sri Lankans have always loved motor-racing and anything involving vehicles. Motor racing has seen a rapid increase in popularity over the last few years and this event we feel is a timely one to introduce enthusiasts to the world of biking under one roof. We invite all enthusiasts to come and witness the great history behind motorbikes in Sri Lanka that will be on display for two days.”
The organizers have chosen Green Path as it is an ideal location for a motor exhibition with ample space to display the machines. The event certainly would be a great crowd puller serving as an educational and entertaining platform for motorcycle enthusiasts in Sri Lanka.Over 40,000 spectatorsare expected to turn up for this exhibition.
The motorbike show will include a variety of vehicle displays from reputed dealers and distributors, classic motorbikes, lubricants companies, motor insurance companies, spare parts, tires, batteries and a number of stalls in motor related areas.
Alliance Finance Co. PLC is expecting to stage this event annually and hoping to build it up as a sought after event for families and enthusiasts to enjoy. Apart from the exhibition the event will also include stunt shows, road safety demonstrations, young school inventors, vintage bike stalls, and test riding shows, slowest rider competitions, young rider’s competition, game stalls and selfie competitions. Participants and spectators can look forward to an enjoyable and fun filled event with attractive awards and gifts during the two days.
