Grassroots train the trainer program successfully concludes in Nuwara Eliya
A grassroots train the trainer program successfully concluded last week. The program was conducted by the Technical department of Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) from 03rd to 06th October 2016 at Nuwara Eliya Municipal Ground.
A total of 30 participants participated in this program, including physical education teachers and club coaches from Anuradhapura Education Zone and the local Clubs. Over 600 children participated in this program, representing Lyceum International School, Sri Vageragana Maha Vidyalaya, Holy Trinity Central College, Talawakele Maha Vidyalaya, Barathy Maha Vidyalaya, Ardlow Tamil Vidyalaya, St. Xaviers College, West Ward Tamil Vidyalaya, Zahira Vidyalaya, Upper Cranly Tamil Vidyalaya and Ythanside Tamil Maha Vidylalaya.
The Technical Director of FFSL Mr. Chaminda Steinwall instructed the program and was assisted by Mr. Saman Bogodawatta. The program was coordinated by the Secreatary of Nuwara Eliya Football Leagyue Mr. Mahendran and the Coach of Nuwara Eliya Football League Mr. Stephen.
