Facebook (FB) recognizes Airtel as most relevant to Sri Lankan Youth
Facebook ( FB) recently recognized Airtel Lanka’s FB page – Airtel Life, as the most relevant Facebook page amongst Sri Lankans between ages 18-25. This accolade was followed by Airtel Lanka’s FB page being recognized as one of the “Most Connected Brands in Sri Lanka” by the leading and most prestigious LMD magazine in Sri Lanka – resulting in the company receiving double accolades for its efforts on the digital front.
In Sri Lanka, Airtel continues to invest actively towards the development of youth which contributes positively towards a progressive society. While the company follows a 360 degree approach in its communication campaigns, given the increase in internet adaptability and smart mobile phone penetration, digital modes of communication such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google + and YouTube, are the most important components of Airtels’ communication plan.
