Hotel Asia Culinary Challenge recognized as a “Worldchefs Competition” by WACS!
The Hotel Asia International Culinary Challenge obtained due recognition and endorsement from the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs), for its 15th edition to be held from the 17th – 20th of September in Maldives.
The World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs), is a global network of chefs associations first founded in October 1928 at the Sorbonne in Paris. Today, this global body has 100 official chefs associations as members that represent over 10 million professional chefs worldwide.
The International Culinary Challenge will have a Worldchefs approved judging panel which comprises some of the leading Chefs in the world. The competition automatically becomes internationally recognized by the competition chefs of the world. The competition will be intensely promoted on worldchefs.org and WorldChefs Magazine. All participants of the competition will receive Worldchefs endorsed participation certificate and winners will receive trophies and medals in line with the guidelines set out by Worldchefs.
This year the Hotel Asia organizers, sets a more interactive tone to the event with the introduction of Masterchef styled Masterclasses. The organizers of Hotel Asia have organized over 6 Masterclasses since the inception of this idea with the events long standing partners and sponsor Bestbuy Maldives.
