Huawei gives out power banks to those in line outside Apple Singapore Store in Orchard Road

Hundreds of people were queuing outside the Apple store on 20 September, a day before the official sale. At around 11pm, the Huawei team went up to those in line and gave out their 10,000 mAh super charge powerbank. Over 200 powerbanks were distributed and was worth SGD 98 each. Crowds were given a surprise in the middle of the night and gone into a frenzy shortly after as many rushed to get their hands on the power bank. In Q2, Huawei has already surpassed Apple to be world’s No.2 smartphone manufacturers.
