HiEnergy Services, has been a member of Aberdeen Holdings since its inception in 2012, having branches spanning across Dubai, Pakistan and Bangladesh. As at present, HiEnergy has installed over 20 MWp (Mega Watt peak – maximum potential output of power) of solar power systems spread across the island, and is currently working on projects of a cumulative output magnitude of 36 MWp, which are projected to be completed by 2023. With its recent installation of a floating solar power system in the University of Jaffna, HiEnergy has become the first and only solar solutions provider to have installed solar power systems of all three categories; ground mounted, rooftop and floating.
With the vision of reducing Sri Lanka’s dependence on fossil fuels for electricity generation, HiEnergy Services’ completed projects have provided an exceptional impact towards the reduction of CO2 emissions and other harmful greenhouse gases every year. These savings are equivalent to the environmental harm caused annually, by the usage 2.3 million gallons of petrol, or emissions from 82.5 million kilometres driven by an average car. The current solar power generation magnitude of HiEnergy (20 MWp), also corresponds to the average annual electricity usage of over 3,707 households.
HiEnergy Services holds a commendable portion of the market share within the solar industry, serving over 500 clients, and has made significant contributions to the national electricity grid through many of its projects. The organisation is fully compliant with the local Electricity Authorities’ guidelines and has gained the recommendations of the sustainable energy authority of Sri Lanka that governs the renewable energy commission of the government.
Commenting on this substantial achievement, Shafik Kassim, Director of Aberdeen Holdings stated “HiEnergy Services has been a member of the Aberdeen group since its inception. The scale of projects that HiEnergy has carried out in the recent past is a true reflection of its potential, and these awards are merely a result of it.”
Taking pride in the organisation’s activities, the Chief Executive Officer of HiEnergy Services (Pvt) Ltd., Muhammad Bilal commented, “I am pleased by the rapid growth that has been garnered by HiEnergy Services within less than a decade. We are proud of our team, who have worked tirelessly towards achieving our corporate goals consistently. I would also like to thank Aberdeen Holdings for supporting us at various stages throughout the company’s evolution, since 2012.”
HiEnergy Services, under the ownership of Aberdeen Holdings hopes to change Sri Lanka’s perspective on electricity, from being an expensive item to a more cost effective commodity.
