The comeback of Princess Maria Amor in Sri Lanka, but this time with her team of We care for Humanity & Patronage of Refugee.
Not even a month has passed; the traveling princess is back with her Asia pacific team, lead by Mr. R. Ravindran the Asia Pacific Region representative for H.H Princess Maria Amor and also founder & president of Patronage of Refugee and his wife Mrs. Vani Ravind. Patronage of Refugee is a NGO in Malaysia that shelters victims of human trafficking, refugees and migrants. The last visit was hosted by Mr. Jeff Goonewardena, Consul General Colombia and Princess Maria Amor distributed 5000 school bags, 4000 food bags and raised more than 10,000USD as donation. This time, the whole team promised to deliver even much stronger humanitarians by bringing local supporters who are also nominees for the 3rd G.O.D Awards at the United Nation. Arriving last February 26th, the We Care for Humanity (WCH) team has already visited the Ash-Shifaa House Mercy Colombo, Darul Rahmah & An Najm Nursery Wattala, Islamic Centre for Physically Handicapped Colombo, Barathi Home, Baari Female Home, Punitha Boomi and Udippidy welfare camp. They welcomed princess in the traditional way by putting garland. The children from the home also did some performances which were beautifully done. The preparation, warm welcoming and their dedication on the event was able to see clearly. In every visit, Princess Maria Amor & Mr. R. Ravindran will sit and talk with the home representatives about the difficulties them facing, so that they will find the possible way to help them and try to provide their temporary needs. And for the remaining days, Princess Maria Amor & Mr. R. Ravindran are going to meet some of the important people to discuss the possible ways to help them. As our vision and mission, we envision promoting the development of healthy international relations between and among nations by shaping humanity through education, health, fitness, wellness, beauty, culture and the arts and our mission are to raise awareness of humanitarianism and fill this world with humanitarians. And when we visit and meet new people here, we realized that people in Sri Lanka need more awareness on human trafficking. During the visit, Princess Maria & Mr. R. Ravindran has met potential humanitarians who can be selected as a nominee for the 3rd Annual G.O.D Awards. This trip is basically planned and organized by We Care for Humanity & Patronage of Refugee to bring awareness to public on human trafficking which is a global issue. We even handout flyers and cards in their preferable language, focusing on human trafficking issues so that they can keep and spread the content. And for the next stop, Princess and the team are moving on the next trip focusing finding the greatest humanitarians in the world to be honored at 3rd G.O.D Awards.
