Top Performers at CTC Celebrated at Annual Pinnacle Awards 2021
Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC (CTC) held its annual Pinnacle Awards ceremony recently, to celebrate the achievements of the Company’s top performers. Held as a virtual event for the second year, the CTC Pinnacle Awards is an internal awards platform that recognises the efforts of employees that go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results for the Company each year. This year, a total of seven employees were recognized in the Trade Marketing category.
The most coveted flagship award for ‘Trade Marketing Executive of the Year 2021’ went to Route-to-Market Executive, Vishan Weerasinghe, while the title of 1st and 2nd Runner Up went to Trade Marketing Executives, Dinushada Sri Kahawita and Buddima Wickramarathne respectively.
In addition to the flagship award, four other awards were presented to employees who demonstrated exceptional excellence during the year 2021. This included Trade Marketing Executives, Srihari Illamanathan and Lasitha Dharmadasa who each took home awards for ‘Emerging Trade Marketing Executive of the Year 2021’, while Channel Manager MT/HoReCa, Tania Pathirage received the award for ‘Most Outstanding Assistant Manager of the Year 2021’ and Modern Trade and HoReCa Executive, Ramaala Wijesekara took home the award for ’Best Executive of the Year in Brands, Strategic Planning & Insights, Business Development 2021’.
