H.A Ariyaratne appointed to the Board of Directors of DFCC Vardhana Bank
H.A Ariyaratne was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB). Ariyaratne has over 33 years of experience in the banking industry and his new appointment at DVB was made effective from 04th March 2015
H.A. Ariyaratne is a First Class Honours Science graduate and is a well-known professional in the banking industry. Over the duration of his career, Ariyaratne has gained vast exposure in the areas of development banking, investment banking, asset management, venture capital and corporate restructuring. He has also served as an Executive Vice President of DFCC Bank and was placed in charge of the bank’s overall lending. H.A. Ariyaratne was the former Chief Executive Officer of Lanka Ventures PLC and has also been a Director on the Boards of various leading companies. Currently Ariyaratne serves as a Director of Laugfs Holdings Limited and few of its subsidiary companies as well as the boards of Kuruwita Textiles Mills Limited and Finagle Lanka (Private) Limited.
