Asian Paints Causeway Adds Color to ‘Kedella – Art of Living’ as the Official Paint Partner
Sri Lanka’s leading paint brand, Asian Paints Causeway, marked their presence in outstanding style at the recently concluded ‘Kedella’ Art of Living Exhibition at the BMICH, Colombo. Asian Paints Causeway was also the Official Paint Partner for Sri Lanka’s largest construction and home decor exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Industries and Plantation Industries, Dr. Ramesh Pathirana amidst the presence of Vaithilingam Kiritharan, the General Manager of Asian Paints Causeway and other dignitaries.
The “Kedella Art of Living 2022” exhibition this time around featured over 200 stalls at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre – BMICH and attracted thousands of visitors in its 3 day run. Asian Paints Causeway mirrored their uniqueness and duly earned market leadership through their colourful stall which was a highlight of the exhibition venue.
The brand ensured maximum engagement with the visitors by creating multiple touchpoints at the stall which also displayed their flair for innovation. The Virtual Reality experience offered to customers, a first in the paint industry in Sri Lanka, was one such feature. It enabled the visitors to switch colours of interior walls and experience how it transforms a living space.
The idea behind the Virtual Reality experience was to encourage customers to get more creative and adventurous with their colour choices for interiors. ‘‘Being a leader in the paint market, we have observed for a long time that Sri Lankans in general don’t dare to be adventurous with colours. In fact, over 65% of Sri Lankan homes are painted in Brilliant White due to this reason’’ said Anuradha Edirisinghe, Head of Marketing and Activations of Asian Paints Causeway.
The experiment was timely and proved to be a resounding success attracting visitors in large numbers to the Asian Paints Causeway Paints stall at the Kedella exhibition.
‘‘Asian Paints Causeway is a market leader and a brand closer to the hearts of Sri Lankans. And much of that success is owed to our consistent efforts to connect with the consumers. Kedella exhibition is a great platform for us to connect with our consumers and address their queries and concerns in real time. We are happy that our participation could add a lot of value to the event and the visitors alike. Especially since we could effectively use this opportunity to encourage homeowners to be more adventurous with their colour choices’’ said Sireesh Rao, Regional Head, Asian Paints International.
The entire Asian Paints Causeway stall had been designed to be a showcase for the luxury, high quality, technologically advanced product range and end to end Safe Painting Service that the brand represents. During the exhibition, Asian Paints Causeway also conducted another first- in-the-industry consumer promotion in search of the most beautiful homes in Sri Lanka. This unique promotion entitled the homeowners who use Asian Paints Causeway Luxury range to beautify their homes to win a trip for two to Paris.
This unique mix of technology-driven, innovative experiences, attractive promotions and knowledge and insights on offer, ensured an enormous footfall to the Asian Paints Causeway stall during the exhibition, making it one of the most successful stalls there.
