The organizations recent partnership with JLanka Technologies, a company which serves as the premier PV installation group in Sri Lanka and is well known for the quality, sustainability, reliability and speed put in to all of their projects, is yet another initiative in promoting this belief.
The power plant was commissioned and connected to national electrical grid network on 27th August 2015 and it is designed to generate 36,000kWh of electricity per month.

The newly installed 300kWp solar power plant is one of the largest privately owned solar power plants in the country and comes with latest module level power electronics based 3rd generation solar inverter technology, complying with latest DC and fire fighter safety standards.
The principle advantage following the installment of the new PV System is the 100% of daytime electricity consumption it provides. The 300 kW Solar PV System is a highly environmentally friendly power plant that saves a high amount of CO2 Emission as well as coal and diesel fuel per year. The monthly amount of greenhouse gas emission saved reaches a total of 29,000KG.
