Grant McCann Vice President chosen to judge Spikes Asia 2015
Laila Gunesekere-Martenstyn has been selected to join the very prestigious and high powered jury at Spikes Asia in Singapore this September. Widely acknowledged as the most sought after and revered Creative Awards program in Asia, Spikes is well attended by the creative and marketing fraternity.
Laila has been invited to judge radio & outdoor categories, while the festival also includes Digital, Direct, Promo, Activation, Film, Print, Mobile, PR, Media and Design.
With over 25 years of invaluable and proven experience in the field of advertising, Laila comes from a creative field moving up to Executive Creative Director before she changed gears and became Vice President and Board of Management Director of Grant McCann, Response Marketing, Grant Public Relation and Juice Productions.
She has been honored with prestigious awards like the HK McCann Award for Leadership Excellence, Zonta Woman of Achievement Award for Advertising, The 1000 voices award for Social Marketing and ABP Woman Super Achiever Award for Advertising & Media.
She has been the President of the Accredited Advertising Agencies Association & the President of the International Advertising Association for 2 terms each.
She has also been included twice in Sri Lanka’s list of 50 most Powerful Women in Business.
Locally she has judged the SLIM, Chillies & Effie Awards.
