Hirdaramani felicitates winners of Rupavahini’s singing competition for children
The Hirdaramani Group recently donated eight Laptops to the winners ofRupavanini’s ‘MuthuharaDidulanaMinimuth’ singing competition for children. The competition was hosted by the Rupavahini Corporation which has produced the longest running children’s TV programme in the country. Present at the prize-giving from the Hirdaramani Group were IndrajithKumarasiri – Chief Executive Officer, Knit Cluster Sri Lanka, along with SamanPriyadharshana, and Tharanga Gunasekara from Human Resources. Also present from theRupavahini Corporation werePadmasiriFernando – Children’s Unit Head, Assistant Director, UdanthaKanalGunathilaka – Muthuhara Children’s Programme Producer and IndunilKarunathilaka – Programme Producer.
The ‘MuthuharaDidulanaMinimuth’singing competition engaged children of all ages across the island and called on them to showcase their talents. The winners of the competition will now be able to use the Laptops provided by Hirdaramani, to support their overall learning and educational development. The Hirdaramani Group has been investing in the futures of young Sri Lankans for decades. The company’s CSR initiatives support a range of educational programmes that are focused on developing talent and nurturing the next generation of Sri Lankan leaders.
