ikman.lk,recognized as the‘Best Employer’ for 2016
ikman.lk, Sri Lanka’s largest marketplace, has once again proven it’s exceptional all round standards this year by securing thecoveted‘Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Award’, hosted by Employer Branding Institute where CHRO Asia is a Strategic Partner. The Asian Confederation of Businesses endorses this prestigious award.
The award recognizes the notable contribution by ikman.lk to fine-tune the employee experience. This included the exemplary learning and development initiatives, employee training and retention practices, as well as continuous innovation of the company with regard to its employees. It also highlights the company’s role as a torchbearer in human resource practices, and success in building the Employer Brand as Employer of Choice. Also entailed is attracting, recruiting and retaining top talent from a target group of employees.
The Employer Branding Institute is dedicated to researching and awarding the best employers striving to provide the optimum work conditions for their employees, by continuous update of human resource policy, where the employees experience a culture of contribution and innovation at the workplace. A research cell, consisting of industry experts from all over the country submits recommendations for the award. The award is the final decision of an independent jury, consisting of eight eminent personalities including senior leaders, researchers and academics.

In addition to the Sri Lanka Best Employer Brand Award, ikman.lk was also recognized for its service excellence at the SLIM National Sales Congress Awards (NASCO) that concluded recently. They carried off two gold awards, a gold award in the media category and a gold award for the best female sales person. Both these awards were won by Mrs. JayaniShohorab Assistant Sales Manager digital banner sales for her outstanding performance.
For over a decade, SLIM NASCO awards has served as a benchmark for the sales sector and facilitates the industry exposure of front liners. A SLIM NASCO award also recognizes and rewards outstanding sales personalities from different products and service categories, at national level.
