Mahapola Lotto network extends to Medirigiriya and Point Pedro
Continuing its rapid expansion drive, following its launch a little over a year ago, lotteries innovator Mahapola Lotto has begun venturing into more remote areas island-wide. Most recently, the
local “pick your own lucky number” lotto concept pioneer entered the interior of Sri Lanka, with sales kiosks in Medirigiriya, In Polonnaruwa, and Point Pedro Bus Stop, in Jaffna, as well as many other more remote locations, where it now offers locals an even greater chance to access Mahapola Lotto’s unique products and prizes.
Importantly, these most recent forays into the true interior of Sri Lanka have also resulted in lotteries innovator Mahapola Lotto surpassing an important milestone, which is its current representation, to varying degrees, in nine out of the country’s 25 districts, specifically Colombo, Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Ratnapura, Polonnaruwa, Jaffna and Kandy, as well as its availability at the Laugfs store network, which is situated across the length and breadth of Sri Lanka.
Today, Mahapola Lotto ticket sales availability, aside from the Mahapola Lotto mobile sales units and Laugfs stores network, includes regional centres such as Colombo, Jaffna, Kandy, Tricomalee and Polonnaruwa. Additionally, some of Mahapola Lottos more prominent sales kiosks are located at popular locales such as Majestic City, Pelawatta, Koswatta, Battaramulla Junction, Sethsiripaya, Rajagiriya, Obesekarapura, Ward Place (Borella), Kolonnawa Junction, Angoda, Slave Island, Fort Railway Station, Kottawa, Aturugiriya Road (Kiribathgoda), Bristol Road (Bambalapitiya), Maharagama Junction, Piliyandala Road (Maharagama), Boralesgamuwa, Wijerama Junction (Dehiwala), Attidiya, Wijeya Mawatha (Maharagama), Bulatsinhala (Homagama), Thalawathugoda, Torrington, Town Hall, Pitakotte, Kohuwala, Kaduwela, Matugama, Nugegoda, Kalubowila, Kandy Clock Tower, Peradeniya, Trincomalee Bus Stop, Vihara Mawatha (Trincomalee), and Jaffna Town.
Mahapola Lotto also has many more sales kiosks currently located in more remote locations such as Godagama, Kainadi Mawatha, Manippai Market, Achchuveli Bus Stop, Unduvil, Kadugannawa, Pilimatalawa, Galagedara, Panideniya, Dhanavantari Hospital, Abhaya Pura, Torankadu Junction, Kantale, Jayanthipura, Minneriya, Hingurakgoda, Divulankadawala, Ambagaswala, as well as many more in areas across Sri Lanka.
Having earned a reputation for frequent innovations that have taken its range of “pick your own lucky numbers” products to the door of every Sri Lankan home, such as in the case of its mobile sales fleet, Mahapola Lotto has also, most recently, unveiled a new Rs. 20 ticket, which has complemented its continuing expansion efforts, which have moved at a rapid, yet steady, pace. The lotteries innovator is also proud to note that its vital, nationally-relevant mission of increasing higher education opportunities for under-privileged children has progressed very well, thanks to the substantial, continuing contributions it makes to the Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund, which is administered by the government of Sri Lanka.
