Gemmological Institute of America conducts skills development seminar for Wellawatte Nithyakalyani
A skills building seminar conducted by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) on retail sales techniques for Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery staff was organized by its management recently at the company auditorium recently. More than 40 staff members of Wellawatte Nithyakalyani Jewellery were able to discuss and share knowledge on significant topics in the gem and jewellery industry.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Karan Kundra, Lecturer ofGemmological Institute of America –India Branch and Mr. Venkatasayee Balasunderam, Zonal Head of South Jewellery Retailers GIA-India. Mr. A.P. Jayarajah CEO – Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery was also present for this occasion. Key topics covered during the seminar included the 4Cs of Diamond Value and 7 Steps to a successful sale.
