KDU emerges winners at the Inter University Paediatrics Quiz Competition 2015
Third University to win the trophy
The annual Inter University Paediatric Quiz Competition organized by the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians (SLCP) was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLF) on November 1st, 2015. The competition commenced in 2007 and was held for the ninth consecutive year.
In the past, teams from the University of Peradeniya and the University of Colombo had been successful in winning the competition and won the trophy six times and twice respectively.
Participating for the second consecutive year, the team from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) emerged victorious. The University goes on record as being the third university to win this prestigious award. Undergraduates representing all Medical Faculties of Sri Lanka participated in this event.
