SSMI Chairman and former Ferrari & Maserati Quality Leader to be featured at the 2nd International Con-ference on Organizational Excellence & Lean Six Sigma to be held on 30th October
The 2nd International Conference on Organizational Excellence & Lean Six Sigma and the 2nd SSMI Graduation Ceremony, organised by Dr. Mikel J. Harry of the Six Sigma Management Institute Asia (SSMI Asia), is scheduled to be held on the 30th October 2019 at the Grand Ballroom, Waters Edge, Colombo, Sri Lanka. This unique event is expected to welcome over 400+ Senior managers, Heads, CxOs and Directors passionate about achieving Velocity of Value with the use of Organizational Excellence & Lean Six Sigma practices.
The conference will feature 20 prominent speakers representing 7 nationalities and will comprise of 5 Case Studies, 7 Presentations and 2 Panel discussions. The Keynote sessions will be delivered by the SSMI Chairman, Sandra Harry, SSMI Global Director APAC & MEA – Dumidu Ranaweera and SSMI Global Director Europe and former Ferrari & Maserati Quality Director – Dr. Fabrizio Majorana. The conference is combined with the 2nd SSMI Graduation ceremony where 200+ Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Green Belts and Yellow Belts certified by SSMI Asia will receive their certifications. This makes the event the largest gathering of Lean Six Sigma enthusiasts in the region.
SSMI Asia was established in year 2016 as the APAC, Middle East and Africa office of the world-renowned Six Sigma Management Institute, USA by the ‘Principal Architect of Six Sigma,’ Prof. Mikel J Harry and his disciple, who is popularly referred to as ‘The Sri Lankan Guru of Lean Six Sigma,’ Dumidu Ranaweera, with the aim of spreading the Goodness of Lean and Six Sigma in the region.
