Top Corporate Trainer 361 Degrees : All round excellence
Company completes an impressive 180 training programs in 2014
361 Degrees, the trainer of choice for Corporate Sri Lanka, proves yet again why its brand is synonymous with high-performance, completing an impressive 180 programs for over 60 clients during 2014.
“High-performing teams are adaptive, responsive and resourceful,” says Rukmal de Silva, Chief Visionary Officer at 361 Degrees. “Our team embodies these strengths because we constantly push ourselves to excel through better engagement, communication, collaboration and creativity. And this was most apparent during 2014, an exceptional year for us in terms of the number of people trained and the scope of the events we undertook. Our performance, in an intensely competitive market, is indicative of a company and a team of people that relish the buzz, the excitement of innovation, and use these to achieve greater things together.”
Wild Drift, the outbound training arm of 361 Degrees, was a key player in the company’s achievements in 2014, helping 361 Degrees to leverage its performance. In a standout year filled with noteworthy initiatives, Rukmal highlighted several key events, including a training session for over 500 people with South African cricketing great Gary Kirsten, a two-day program for 6000 people and a program that used theatre as a learning platform for leadership training.
According to Rukmal the scale of their program delivery capacity was put to the test when they had to deliver 5 programs simultaneously on a single day on the 04th of April 2014, an output that is unmatched in the local training industry. On that day they delivered programs for BIA CTC, Dialog Jacobi and Royal Fernwood and are proud to note that all the programs ran like clockwork, and were highly commended by the clients in question.
Dulendra Udukumbure, who specializes in creative corporate growth strategies at 361 Degrees, says the team’s achievement is unmatched in the local training market. “Building and motivating high-performance teams is our lifeblood. Bringing these same messages in-house is sometimes a challenge. However, what the past year has proved is that 361 Degrees and Wild Drift are able to take the building blocks of team work, translate them into practical techniques, apply them in-house and then reap tangible benefits.”
The company is currently transitioning its various sub-brands to the 361 Degrees banner, and Rukmal and his team are excited about the growth prospects for 2015. “Change is a constant factor in our field of work, and one that we embrace. The ability to stay ahead of an evolving training and development landscape is what sets us apart from our competition. It’s what keeps us excited for the challenges ahead.”
