The Envoy luxury silk socks are produced using a lengthy, intricate and complex process which is known as Sericulture and involves the cultivation of commercial silk worms. The silkworm eggs hatch into larvae which feed on Mulberry leaves, and produce the finest silk. The raw silk is then removed from the cocoonsthrough a process called reeling which involves hot water and steam, and this eventually produces the finest silk yarn.
