Kist Biscuits, a Cargills manufacturing Company has launched its latest innovation in the snack biscuits category with the launch of PIKNIK in a box!

Sunil Dissanayake, General Manager of Cargills Quality Confectionaries said the light crispy bite size snack biscuit is perfect for in-between meals, lunch boxes, tea time indulgence and even as an appetizer. “‘PIKNIK’ comes to you in three delectable favours. PIKNIK Veggies is complete with crisp dried veggies baked into the treat for a real favorful experience while PIKNIK Chilli Spice has a dash of hot chilli for an extra zesty bite. PIKNIK Cheese & Onion is full of real cheese and real onion, ideal for a quick snack or even with a creamy topping or tangy dip,” he said.

Jegathieshwaran Rajaratnam, National Sales Manager for Kist Biscuits noted that PIKNIK would be available in all supermarkets in portion size packs of 85g. He added “In the coming months customers can look forward to greater availability as well as an enhanced range of Kist Biscuits. PIKNIK is manufactured at Cargills Quality Confectionaries, located on a sprawling fve acre estate in the historic and picturesque valley of Matale. The facility specializes in producing a 100% vegetarian range of Kist branded biscuits and is accredited with ISO 22000:2005 for food safety management.
