ARTDO to do signature Human Resources and Management event this year in Sri Lanka

Hilton Colombo hosts the 46th ARTDO conference themed Shaping a Sustainable Future from 23rd to 25th September 2019, that brings all these stellar voices together,
‘ARTDO has reached beyond borders of the Asian region and gone global. Over 20 world renowned HR and Management gurus and Numero Uno specialists in several fields will be in Sri Lanka to share their knowledge and experiences at this year’s conference, and that does Sri Lanka proud,’ said current ARTDO president, Attorney at Law Janaprith Fernando.
‘The CEO Forum at the conference is one of a kind in this kind of pow-wow, while the Women Empowerment and Leadership session that’s equally high wattage and catches the global zeitgeist, will be graced by Her Royal Highness Princess GKR Mangkubumi of Indonesia together with Lakmini Wijesundara (Iron One Technologies, Sri Lanka), Rita Goh (Malaysia), and Koko Nakahara,’ President Fernando added.
‘Also, top notch legal eagles will address legal practitioners in a session resourced by Kalinga Indatissa, PC (President, BASL), T. Gunaseelan (Advocate – Malaysia) and Dr Harsha Cabraal, PC’, Fernando, a lawyer himself, further added.
Anil Gammanpila (Australia) will speak at featured sessions on Leadership Styles in the Digital Age, and Paul Jambunathan (Malaysia) on Applied Emotional Intelligence.
Forays into exciting explorative themes in the HRD and management sphere, such as artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence etc, and sustainability practices and environment that are hot button topics, will be a feature in the plenary and concurrent sessions. An array of big name resource persons have been lined up.

The conference offers an early bird registration until 31st August 2019 and thereafter a regular conference fee for Sri Lankan participants. The organizers expect several overseas participants for the parley, at a time tourism badly needs a pick up after the hit suffered on Easter Sunday.
