Commercial Bank opens branch in BIA’s Departures Terminal
The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has opened a second branch at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) Katunayake, to serve the foreign currency needs of passengers using its Departures Terminal.
The new branch will be open around the clock, 365 days of the year, and will serve Sri Lankans and foreigners leaving the country, the Bank said.
The new branch is the Bank’s 248th in Sri Lanka. An ATM machine was also unveiled at the DeparturesTerminal on the same day by the Bank. In October last year, the Bank opened a similar branch at the airport’s Arrivals Terminal.
Commercial Bank also has a branch at Seeduwa which operates from 9 am to 9pm, 365 days of the year, for the benefit of area residents and for the convenience of travellers flying through BIA.
