Finetech appoints two renowned professionals to its board

Sri Lanka’s single largest Multi Cloud Solutions Provider, Finetech Consultancy (Private) Ltd has welcomed eminent Professionals to its Board. The company has appointed Mr. Lakshman Silva as a Director and Mr. Dumindra Ratnayaka as the Chairman. Mr. Ratnayaka presently serves as the Chairman of the 1990 Suwasariya Foundation and  was the Former CEO of Etisalat Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Sri Lanka’s first mobile telecommunications network and a former Chairman of the Board of Investment, Moreover, Mr. Dumindra Ratnayaka also has served on the ICTA board. He holds an Electronics and Telecommunications degree with first class honors from the University of Moratuwa Sri Lanka.

Mr. Lakshman Silva is currently the Chairman of PanAsian Power PLC, its subsidiaries & serves as an Independent Director at Seylan Bank PLC. Further Mr Silva is a member of the Stakeholder Engagement Committee of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka & Committee Member of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Until December 2021, Mr. Silva functioned as Chief Executive Officer/ Director of DFCC Bank PLC & as Director/ Chairman of its subsidiaries. Prior to commencing his professional career at DFCC Bank PLC in 1987 he served as an Assessor at the Department of Inland Revenue. Mr. Silva holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University of Kelaniya & Master of Business Administration Degree from University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is an Associate Member of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia Pacific & the Past President of Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka. The founding members of FCPL, Mr. Clehan Pulle and Ms. Sujatha Nadesan, will continue to function as Chief Executive Officer/Director and Chief Operating Officer/Director, respectively and they believe that the two new Directors with their experience will make a significant contribution to its growth and success.
