Grand Opening for Two of the Most Significant Trade Fairs in the Region Bangkok RHVAC 2019 and Bangkok E&E 2019
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Club and the Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications and Allied Industry Club, the Federation of Thai Industries is organizing Bangkok RHVAC 2019 and Bangkok E&E 2019, featuring a complete range of products and services, seminars in hot topics, exhibitions of new technologies and a lucky draw for free air-conditioners during 25-28 September, 2019 at BITEC, Bangkok.
Mr. Suchart Sinrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce disclosed at the opening ceremony of Bangkok Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning 2019 (Bangkok RHVAC 2019) and Bangkok Electric and Electronics 2019 (Bangkok E&E 2019) that last year, Thailand’s export of refrigerating and air-conditioning products as well as electrical appliances accounted for 24,312 million US dollars, a 3.61% increase and export of electronic products and parts was 38,370 million US dollars, increasing by 4.45%. This favorable trend is driven by the fact that Thailand is a significant manufacturing base of environment friendly products with international standard quality.
Today, Thailand becomes the world’s number one hard disk drive manufacturer, the second top air conditioner manufacturer, and the fourth top refrigerator manufacturer. Many popular brands choose to manufacture their products in Thailand as they’re well aware of its strength — that is the fully integrated supply chain from the upstream to downstream.
Bangkok RHVAC 2019 and Bangkok E&E 2019 features the “ONE STOP SOLUTIONS” theme which means it offers all categories of products and services in the industries under one roof. The fair is organized to showcase its strength with two important trade fairs featuring the most complete range of relevant products and services and attracting manufacturers, importers, exporters and other key players in the industry from around the world. The event gathers nearly 400 exhibitors who showcase their products in more than 1,000 booths. We expect to attract more than 14,000 visitors from around the world and the fair will generate more than 2,000 million baht of trade value.
Visitors will meet with leading manufacturers of air-conditioning products and parts such as Tasaki, Saijo Denki, Uniaire, Airtemp, Eminent air, Star air, Haier, Daikin; big brands with expertise in planning and building cold storage, convenience store and refrigerators such as Patkol, ITC, Sirayooth, Mayakawa, Thermedez, Lucky star; companies with expertise in the compressor for a cooling system such as Kulthorn Kirby, Siam Compressor, Bitzer; manufacturers of controlling system and materials in the cooling industry such as Carel, Dixell, EBM, Pioneer Motor, Aeroflex, Intronic as well as leading manufacturers of home appliances/audio and visual appliance, industrial/power supply, IT and OA, lighting, parts/accessories.
Activities at the event include seminars featuring experts and gurus of air-conditioning and cooling systems in the topics suitable for technicians, students, engineers and other people, including See-through AC Compressor Blast Trick, Threats and the Effects of Micro Dust, Guidelines of Designing for Building and Ventilation Systems to Solve Small 2.5 PM Dust Problems, Catching the Future Trend of the Refrigeration Industry and Food safety – The Smart Way (HACCP & CFR).
Those in the electrical and electronics industry cannot afford to miss technical seminars in hot topics which are How to Choose Automation System for Thai SMEs?, Wealth Transfer from Generation to Generation amidst the Technological Tsunami, LSEV Skateboard Open Platform in Thailand and Fundamental EV Body Design.
One of the most interesting activities is the “Tonkla Electronics” (Electronic Sprouts) exhibition displaying fresh new Ideas in electronic projects under the “Smart Electronics Solution” theme from students in nine universities across Thailand. Moreover, an electronic vehicle model from a Thai manufacturer will be on display alongside these student projects.

Trade days are from 25 -27 September and the event will be open to the public on 28 September, 2019 from 10.00-18.00 hrs at BITEC, Bangkok.
