All new ikmanJobs Portal to Transforms Employment Landscape
ikman.lk, Sri Lanka’s largest online marketplace, is set to transform the employment landscape with its new dedicated site for employers and job seekers. For the very first time, ikman.lk has created a separate landing page ‘ikmanJobs’ offering a totally new job search experience for everyone in the workforce.
ikmanJobs offers the ideal solution to connect manpower with potential employers searching for the right candidate. Even the colour scheme has been made distinguishable with an aesthetically pleasing blue background with orange highlights.
A novel feature of the new site is a top banner which continuously scrolls, showcasing featured employers. Interested candidates simply need to click on the company logos and they will be directed to job openings of these entities.
The platform also integrates social media as a tool helping both job seekers and job providers. Dedicated LinkedIn and Facebook pages showcase information available on the main site, with interesting and topical posts related to employment regularly shared.
The new site features an easier filtering and job search experience previously unavailable. Through both ‘search’ and ‘filters’ functionality, only relevant ads will be displayed. Limiting visibility to other categories helps de-clutter the site ensuring users are shown only the results they need.
Featured employers include Dialog, NTB, ODEL, Softlogic, Cargills, LB Finance, Janashakthi, Pizza Hut, etc. This list continues to grow with reputed brands and organisations from both local and international entities listing their talent requisition needs.
In addition, to date ikmanJobs has also garnered an impressive presence with over 233,000 unique visitors per month, a CV database of over 220,000 individuals, 14,000 applicants every month, 4,100 live ads per month and 3,200 new job ads per month.
“With the launch of our new Job portal, ikman.lk aims to drastically change the online job-seeking experience. ikmanJobs is specifically tailored towards helping corporates and small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to easily hire the talent they need to thrive, while at the same time targeting job-seekers, presenting them with opportunities that fit their unique needs,” said Methsala Atthanayake, Senior Manager, ikman.lk.
Unlike similar employment-related sites, ikmanJobs offers enhanced capabilities and tools including the Dashboard and Talent Search. With the ‘Dashboard’ feature employers need not pursue individual applicant details but simply with a click of a button are able to shortlist potential candidates. Similarly, by using the Talent Search option, potential candidates can be easily filtered by a drop down menu which provides easy filtering based on criteria set by user.
Additionally, ikmanJobs provides agent assistance to liaise with both organisations and SMEs and assist them should the need arises, the availability of the site in all three languages is another advantage, convenient listing options, ability to accept and reject CVs in bulk, high quality of ads, an option to edit details and easy payment methods are features that create a win-win situation for both job-seekers and employers.
Another interesting feature of the new ikmanJobs site is the availability of Analytical reports. These are available to members monthly and it offers a range of information including Total ads, Career page Visits and Total ad views etc. This valuable data provides clients’ information on statistics for all adverts. Through this they can obtain vital information on ads posted and how successful and effective each advert has been.
