People’s Insurance and Assetline Leasing onboard as CA Sri Lanka training partners

Two leading companies, Peoples Insurance Ltd and Assetline Leasing  Co. Ltd came onboard recently to further boost the training partner portfolio of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).

At a ceremony held at the Institute’s Colombo 7 premises, President of CA Sri Lanka Mr. ArjunaHerath awarded the Business & Corporate Level Training Partner Certificate to Mr. Nimal Perera, Chief Operating Officer and Mr. N. D. P.  Somarathna, Senior Manager Finance of People’s Insurance Ltd.

Mr. Herath also awarded the Training Partner Certificate to Mr. H. M. A.  Senevirathne, Director / Chief Executive Officer and Mr. R. Rajeshkumar, Manager Finance & Accounting of Assetline Leasing  Co. Ltd.

Accordingly, Peoples Insurance and Assetline Leasing will provide practical training to students who are following the CA Sri Lanka chartered accounting qualification at the Business and Corporate Levels.

Vice President of CA Sri Lanka Mr. Lasantha Wickremasinghe, Chairman of the Training & Development committee Mr. ManilJayesinghe, Chief Executive Officer of CA Sri Lanka Mr. Aruna Alwis, and Director – Education and Examinations Mr. Harsha Gunasena were also present at the event.
