realme named among “50 Most Innovative Companies” in 2020
realme, the emerging mobile phone brand that recently made its way into the Sri Lankan market was named one of Fast Company’s “50 Most Innovative Companies in China” for 2020. The prestigious annual list selected companies that had continued to grow despite the challenges faced in 2020 and maintained resilience and persistence in adversity – adapting to the environment, embracing changes, and at the same time insisting on being good.
As a cutting-edge brand, realme adheres to the brand spirit of “Dare to Leap”, and continues to grow against the downtrend, becoming one of the smartphone brands which reported growth in the first two quarters of 2020. With only one-and-a-half years’ of establishment, realme was able to position themselves among the world’s Top 7 smartphone brands at the end of quarter 3 in 2019. In November 2020, affirming realme’s rapid growth as an innovative smartphone brand, realme was also named by Counterpoint research as the world’s fastest smartphone brand with sales of 50 million units in only 9 quarters.
