Unilever and Sathosa award 3 Prime Plots and Gold Coins to the Winners of ‘Sathosa Idam Nidhanaya Season 3’
The third phase of ‘Sathosa Idam Nidhanaya’ was recently concluded at JAIC Hilton, Colombo. A collaborative effort by Unilever Sri Lanka and local retail giant of consumer goods, Lanka Sathosa, the project aims at uplifting the lives of Sri Lankans everywhere.
Initiated in 2016, ‘Idam Nidanaya’ this year awarded three winners prime plots of land close to the Colombo area. Additionally, 35 other lucky winners received gold coins worth a total of Rs. 1 million.
Gracing the occasion was; Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development, Vocational Training & Skills Development, Buddhika Pathirana, Secretary to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, K.D.N. Ranjith Ashoka, Director to the Ministry, Indika Ranatunga, Chairman of Lanka Sathosa, Thariq Kaleel, Chief Executive Officer of Lanka Sathosa, Dushmantha Thotawatta, Chairman of Unilever Sri Lanka, Carl Cruz, Customer Development Director, Aruna Mawilmada, Head of Channel & Category Development, Elo Siccion and Head of Modern Trade, Dinusha Ekanayake.
This year’s winners of the prime plots of land were Yulika Rasanjani from Badulla, Yashodha Ravindu Bandara Jayasundara from Boossa and Elizabeth Silva from Kurundugaha-Hethekma.

The program has successfully been held for three consecutive years due to the collaborative efforts taken between our two organisations.
