Acer launches Intel’s 8th gen CPU based Notebooks in Sri Lanka – Aspire E5, Swift 3, Spin 5, Swift 5 and Switch 7 Black Edition

Acer expanded its popular portfolio of ultra-slim convertible and detachable Windows 10 devices, in Sri Lanka with the launch of the next generation of Swift, Spin and Switch models. The launch that took place on the 14th of September at The Hilton, unveiled a range of exceptionally powerful 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processors that featured more secure biometric technology, Windows Hello capabilities and a host of versatile usability features necessary for immersive entertainment and professional productivity. In addition to performance and mobility, these notebooks also sported a new refreshing sense of style and design, providing an ideal balance of form and function.
Aspire E5
Aspire E5 is Acer’s most popular mainstream Notebook model in Sri Lanka. The E5 is available in 14” and 15.6” versions and is currently available on 8th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 CPUs. The Aspire E5 comes in varied colors and incorporates special features such as NVIDIA’s latest MX series graphic cards, impressive textured cover, memory compartment door, Acer Bluelight shield technology, Dolby premium audio and Skype certification.
Swift 3
Measuring in at 17.95 mm in height and weighing ~1.6 kg, the Swift 3’s svelte and lightweight design features a sturdy brushed-aluminium body that offers a robust feel and beautiful tactile touch. It features latest 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processors, with an option between Intel® UHD graphics and the latest nVidia® GeForce® MX150 graphics. Most importantly, it offers up to 10 hours of battery life to help users power through a full day of work and beyond.
Spin 5
Lightweight, portable, and enclosed in a head-turning metal casing, the Spin 5 is the style-conscious professional’s go-to device for all types of work and fun. The device’s versatile, convertible form factor allows users to interchange seamlessly between laptop, tablet, display and tent modes, making the Spin 5 a perfect platform to create and share content.
The Spin 5 is powered by an 8th Generation Intel Core processor, up to 16 GB of DDR4 memory, up to 13 hours of battery life, and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics option; ideal for handling rigorous creative production such as graphic design and video editing.
