Microsoft calls on SMBs in search of business growth to embrace cloud
Microsoft held a seminar at the Hilton Colombo, where they hosted local small and medium businesses. The event, which was themed “AM PM work to your own schedule”, showcased the mobility, productivity and security within the cloud computing platform, Azure to businesses of varying size. The event saw over 60 company representatives and IT professionals discover new and innovating cloud services to drive productivity, security and trust wherever and whenever their employees choose to work.
SMB Territory Channel Manager for Microsoft Sri Lanka & Maldives, Ashiq Niyaz, delivered the opening keynote on data governance and security in the world of Digital while Sanjay Satheesh, Azure Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft SEA New Markets, explained how Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft 365 could transform business verticals with 24/7 productivity tools embedded with predictive analytics and cognitive services.
They were accompanied by Chinthaka Dunuwille—Software Asset Management and Compliance Lead for Microsoft SEA New Markets—and Ruvini Bandara, Account Technology Strategist for Microsoft Sri Lanka & Maldives, both of whom elaborated on enterprise data breach prevention.
