Minister and Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure makes first official visit to Mobitel
The Management and Senior Staff of Mobitel warmly welcomed Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Hon. Harin Fernando and Deputy Minister of Telecommunicationsand Digital Infrastructure, Hon. TharanathBasnayake during the firstofficial visit made by the duo to the mobile telephony company’s head office located at W. A. D.RamanayakeMawatha, Colombo 2, yesterday.
Addressing the staff of Mobitel, Hon. Harin Fernando reiterated on his vision to embark on development projects which will enhance the ICT sector, further helping the telecom operators to emerge their product offering in to greater heights. He stressed on the importance of sustaining the growing demand for Digital Infrastructure by being on par with global trends and innovations. The meet also gave opportunity for the senior management of Mobitel to showcase future plans and discuss potential avenues for collaborations in contribution to the Economy.
