SLT VisionCom felicitates employee excellence at Service Awards 2021
SLT VisionCom (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of SLT-MOBITEL, recognized and appreciated the service excellence of employees for the year 2021, at the Service Awards 2021 held, on the 05th of January 2022 at the SLT auditorium with the participation of Rohan Fernando, Group Chairman, SLT-MOBITEL and Lalith Seneviratne, Group Chief Executive Officer, SLT-MOBITEL.
Employees were awarded for their service excellence at the ceremony, with Shamika Dilshan Wijesinghe – Assistant Manager – Content Affairs recognized with the “Executive of the Year – CEO’s Award 2021” for his significant dedication and contribution demonstrated towards the organization in many key aspects. Ten (10) employees were recognized for their loyal service of five years (05) and seven (07) employees were praised for their long-standing dedication of 10 years to the organization.
The “Executive of the Year – CEO’s Award” was conceptualized to recognize the extraordinary and most outstanding employee of SLT VisionCom during a particular year. The award criteria specified that the employee will be recognized as the most exceptional in exceeding expectations in delivering his/her key responsibilities as defined in the job role, thereby championing the organisation’s vision of excellence.
The first ever Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) product, known as SLTMOBITEL – PEO TV provisioned in Sri Lanka in late 2008. SLT VisionCom (Pvt) Ltd created a differentiated product offering through PEOTV by introducing Rewind TV, Time Shifted TV, Picture-in-Picture, Movies on Demand, Music on Demand, Education on Demand, Subscription video on Demand and many other TV applications for the first time in Sri Lanka and has now become one of the most sought after products among customers, reaching over 500,000 subscribers spread Island wide.
