Emirates facilitates travel to UK with special fares as Sri Lanka is removed from Red List
Emirates is joining Sri Lankans to celebrate the easing of travel restrictions by the British government with the launch of special fares to five destinations in the United Kingdom.
Going on sale from 4th October, these special fares will be valid for travel to London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow, up to 31st March 2022, provided tickets are booked before 17th October.
Applicable to all classes of travel, these special all-inclusive fares start at US$ 821 (Rs 164,200 at current rates of exchange) on Economy Class, and US$ 2,369 (approximately Rs 473,800) on Business Class the award-winning airline said. All fares in Rupees are subject to the rate of exchange on the day of purchase. Emirates flights can be booked on emirates.com, via travel agents or the Emirates Sales Office.
These special fares represent an excellent opportunity for students travelling for higher education, business executives resuming international travel and Sri Lankans planning to visit family and friends in the UK to save on their air tickets by booking early.
Travel during the period covered by the special fares also enables travellers to take a break in Dubai of up to 21 days en-route to enjoy what Dubai has to offer, including a visit to the EXPO 2020. Emirates customers visiting and travelling through Dubai anytime during this mega global event, are eligible to receive a free Emirates Expo Day Pass for every flight ticket booked with the airline. The offer is applicable on all Emirates flight tickets purchased between 1 August 2021 and 31 March 2022.
Emirates has been gradually rebuilding its global network in a safe and sustainable manner and has resumed passenger services to over 120 passenger destinations, allowing travellers to conveniently connect to the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific via Dubai.
Keeping the health and wellbeing of its passengers as top priority, Emirates has introduced a comprehensive set of safety measures at every step of the customer journey. The airline has also recently introduced contactless technology to ease the customer journey through Dubai airport and taken its customer care initiatives further with even more generous and flexible booking policies, an extension of its multi-risk insurance cover, and helping loyal customers retain their miles and tier status.
